Refund policy

RETURNS & REFUNDS: 

Due to the nature of natural and handmade products we want to ensure our customers that the products they have received are fresh, unused, and untouched by another customer! If you have received the incorrect product or wrong order, please email sales@saunnatea.com. We do not accept any refunds that have not been confirmed by us, do not unseal or unwrap the incorrect product(s).  

Unfortunately, we CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS on perishable goods such as our tea bags or loose leaf teas. If you have an item that you wish to return or exchange, please contact us on email:  sales@saunnatea.com or call at 1 (617) 543-0553 within 14 days of receipt with your order number, description of issue and photos of any damages. You MUST contact us prior to returning your products. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS WITHOUT OUR CONFIRMATION. We do not issue credit for items returned without being approved. We do not cover the costs of return shipping charges unless due to company error. In order to receive full credit, all returns must be unopened in their original packaging and in a resalable condition. We will notify you once we’ve received notification of your inquiry, and let you know if the refund or return was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method or you will be . Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

EXCHANGES: Saunna Tea will gladly exchange any unopened product for a product of comparable value within 14 days of receipt. You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless due to company error. You must email us at on email:  sales@saunnatea.com or call 1 (617) 543-0553 for a confirmation on your inquiry of an exchange. No exchange will be given for items returned without being contacted and approved, on items that are open and used. Saunna Tea will promptly administer an exchange on items that were sent incorrectly to the customer. 

ACCESSORIES: We have a 7 day return policy only for accessories* including tea ball infusers which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, on your accessory item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at on email: sales@saunnatea.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods after being opened (such as tea bags, and loose leaf tea), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@saunnatea.com If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
